Problems logging on? If you are experiencing problems with WCU Online, there is a Help link on the log in page. Or, read on for some common issues: Q. I need to enter my test questions whenever I login, even though I've used the Enhanced Security Login to link my computer. A. This happens when the cookies on your computer are deleted regularly. To avoid this, download Macromedia player to place a copy of a secure cookie within your computer's system, which will be used by your system if the Enhanced Security Login cookie gets deleted again. The download can be found by visiting http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ Q. I'm having problems accessing WCU Online. A. First try and access the site from the following link: https://www.westconsincuhb.org/onlineserv/HB/Signon.cgi If you cannot click on the link, copy and paste the address into to the address bar of your web browser and hit enter. If you are still having problems: 1) Are you using a current version of Internet Explorer or Netscape web browser to access the site? We recommend these browsers for best results. 2) Does your browser have 128bit Encryption? We recommend Internet Explorer 6 with all current patches and fixes installed. There is more information on encryption and supported web browsers at this site: http://www.diginsite.com/security/privacy.html 3) Check internet security level: Security settings may be too high to accept new certificates, which is required to create a secure connection. To verify internet security open Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then Internet Options button. Click on the Security tab and to display: High, Medium, Medium-Low or Low. To gain the certificate that is required by the site you must have the level set to Medium level or below. You can access WCU Online one time to gain the certificate. Then turn your internet security back to High. You may also want to add https://www.westconsincuhb.org to your trusted sites. <See example below.> 4) Have you cleaned up your internet files? Clean up your internet file cache by deleting temporary files and cookies to ensure that your computer loads the most up-to-date files from our online banking. In an open Internet Explorer window, click on the Tools menu and then Internet Options link. Click on the Delete Cookies and Delete Files buttons to clear out the cache. 5) Having a Secure PC: WCU Online can be disrupted due to having Virus, Ad-Ware, Spyware, or Browser High Jacking. The message that is usually displayed is: Session Corrupt. The common signs for these things are internet pop-ups, slower PC operation, internet home page changed without authorization, unexplained PC lockups or errors, not being able to access web pages and new, unusual icons appearing on your desktop or system tray. It is best to make sure you have current Anti-Virus and Spyware protection installed on your PC. Virus protection does cost but is well worth the peace of mind when your personal information is at stake. There is Spyware protection that is free of charge, including Windows Defender and Spybot Search and Destroy. Make sure your software has the newest protection files, runs regular scans and has real-time protection enabled. EXAMPLE If prompted with the Security Alert box you need to select YES
If you have already accessed Online banking and selected NO or have internet security set to high you need to do the following.
After you have successfully accessed WCU Online once you can turn the Internet security back to High if you choose.
